To promote the old and new social media profiles at Genesee Community College, I distributed water bottles to students on campus during the popular club fair. Students could use their smartphones or a provided laptop to follow GCC on any new social media platform, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, or Google+. Many students were unaware that GCC had a presence on most of their favorite forms of social media, and the water bottle worked as a continued form of marketing.
