To be an Inspiration is to be Inspired

IMG_3691It was incredibly fitting that this tank top came in the mail today.

When I first started doing this coaching thing with Beach Body, I did it because I wanted to. I wanted to inspire others the way my coach, Molly, inspired me, and I love it.

I started my first ever challenge group this month and it has been amazing. So many more people than I thought were involved, energized, and working toward their goal. It made me so happy to get messages from people just saying thanks, or even asking me questions. It really is the best feeling. I am anxiously awaiting to see my team’s results, so that I can see how far they’ve come, but more importantly, they will continue to be inspired.

Sure, I can make money off being a coach, and sure, I could really drop my full time, secure job to try and make it exclusively as a coach. I’ve seen so many incredibly successful people do it. And they’re genuinely changing lives. It takes a lot of work, a lot of networking, a lot of…things. I don’t need this to become a source of income, and didn’t do it for money, and so I never had things like “make more sales” or “sign on more coaches” as a goal on my list. My goal was to run successful challenge groups and help people get to their goal. Hopefully, I’m doing that.

But, today, someone in my challenge group signed on to be a coach, meaning I officially have a team. A TEAM. Me, the one who had no financial investment in this, the one who was just looking to help people –  I have a team now.

Words can’t describe how excited I am about this. I helped to inspire someone to take another step, a step further than I ever thought anyone in any of my challenge groups would take. I’m already gearing up for another 3-week challenge starting April 6, and my veteran challengers are signing on again, and new people are interested in more information.

It has been such an amazing ride, and I’ve only been on it for a month. The number of people I’ve talked to about it has been incredible, and I know it’s only going to get more spectacular. I was struggling to find a purpose; find something I was good at and also enjoyed doing, but I think I’m getting closer.
